Text for advanced Manual Machining

I am teaching an advanced manual machining class and I am in deperate need of a text(s) or any other source of information.

Something that contains information about tool and die and other advanced manual machining subjects..

Can anyone help?

You could try www.cncinformation.com website. Its relativitly new but looks like it might be a source of info for what your looking for. Good luck with your classes.

Hi, no one really said much when you asked for a text. When I began college, I walked in not knowing anything about milling or lathes. The text that we used was http://www.amazon.ca/Technology-Machine-Tools-Steve-Krar/dp/0078307228]Technology Of Machine Tools: Amazon.ca: Steve Krar, Arthur Gill, Peter Smid: Books , It was awesome. You may consider maybe buying up some used older additions and get a couple of the newest editions for the newest tech. That's up to you but It covers the basics, very well compared to the couple other texts, I have looked over.
