I thought it would be nice to have a thread where people chime in with the favorite mods they have made to their machines. My favorite mod is oiling. In my opinion, the biggest weakness of the Taig is it's lack of oiling. Machines need oil and it's difficult to get oil on the the ways as it comes from the factory. The other reason I like this mod is it's free. I'll let the pictures tell the story. |

| Me, I flipped my Y saddle around, xtent Y stepper mount extended the head, cut a little notch out of the Z upright and rebraced the back of it to add regidity. I now have 8.25" Y travel. No pics tho, maybe oneday, when I get good camera |
