taig and mach 3 issues

i bought a used microproto 2000 and want to run mach 3. i have watched the vids and read everthing i can find and stiil cant get any motor movement. the guy i bought it from bought it in 2003. the motors have resistance ubtill i star mach and then nothing. i read on microproto.com that i may need a step/dir phase adapter. please help

nevermind i found a post that had what i needed. the taig 2000 and mach 3 do work together without having to buy a turbo taig board or whatever its called. just a little fine tuning this baby is ready to go!! yay!!! finally.
