Where can I find a good clamping kit for a TAIG mill?

Where can I find a clamping kit for a TAIG mill? IC clamping kits for $29+ problem is they are for 3/8" T-SLOTS or bigger. I've seen some other "kits" that consists of a few aluminum T-NUTS and 2 straps for over $80.00 OMG!

I decided there probably isn't one so now I have a $29 3/8" clamping kit on the way thinking that I will be able to mill the nuts and cut flats on the threaded rods so it will fit my mill 1/4" T-SLOTS. Sure beats a couple of aluminum straps for $80 Once all the nuts and screws are milled I'll have a 52 piece clamping kit that will work with my TAIG.

One problem will likely be case hardening... Just FYI if your thinking about buying from that ebay supplier DONT pay right away wait for him to send an invoice as the shipping will likely be less although maybe it doesn't matter if your only buying 1 item.

I have been thinking about buying "bulk" clamping kits to mill and sell to TAIG users just so they could have a ready to go clamping kit. Maybe a little more searching will reveal a 1/4" clamping kit that isn't imported because its not a "demand" item. BUT if there isn't then a milled up version of the 3/8" kit from me would be super especially if I can make a few $$

Initially I am going to cut the 3/8" T-nuts to 1/4" T-nut size which will have the effect of leaving about 3.25 turns of 3/8-13 thread in the "bottom" of the nut and 3 more turns of incomplete thread at the "top". The rods are going to have flats cut so that they can slide into the T-slots sideways after being threaded onto a nut.

So nope they won't fit until I make them fit.
