Help setting up a taig cnc mill

I'm looking for someone in the Milwaukee WI area that can help me set up the software on a taig cnc mill. I have two, one that I've been using for a couple of years, with steppers, just as it came from Taig. I have a second Taig mill with servos, and a different controller from Cand cnc, all assembled, but I'm not confident in doing the initial setup. I'm a sculptor and do not use these daily, so it's not become second nature to me.

    Thanks,

    John

    I'm not in Wisconsin

But I'll try to help. Are you sure those are servos on your mill? Taig also makes a model (the DSLS 3000) with steppers equipped with encoders - could that be what you've got? The only Taigs commercially available that come equipped with servos are from Supertech: Super Tech & Associates Main Web Home Page Is that what you've got, or was this somebody's home-brew setup? C&CNC are also still around - you should ask them if you're having problems with one of their controllers: http://www.candcnc.com/ Does your controller have the Gecko stepper drives, or G320 servo drives? Are you trying to use Mach3, or some other control program?
