First time to use a slitting saw. 1/16 slot 1/2 deep and 3/4 long in brass. Saw is 2.5 diameter with 26 teeth.
At the lowest spindle speed of 1100 I estimate a feed rate of 30 will remove about 0.001 per tooth. Is this a good starting point? Multiple cuts - how many? Flood coolant?
