    Setting the machine x,y,z coordinates

I see the numbers in mach 3, but how do I set them to my machine? And what would be X0, Y0, (I assume Z0 would be spindle on table)

I want to set up soft limits so I elimate the occasional machine limit crash (thats right, I have done it and admit it).

Are the soft limits basicly a software version of real limit switches? are they always on ready to save me from my self?

    Thanks guys.

Sounds like you need to take a look at the Mach manual: http://www.machsupport.com/documentation.php, and maybe watch a few of the videos: http://www.machsupport.com/videos.php.
