Hi all, I have a 3020 chinese cnc. My aluminum t-slot has gotten a bit damaged over time and I'm curious where I can find the same aluminum t slot I have on it now. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again! You all are great!
I am preparing my first CNC on the drawing board, love to read this forum while doing so. I am very interested and thankful about the links you guys posted here. I was wondering if you knew were to find metric aluminium extrusion files for Sketchup. Parker IPS have a few files, very helpful, but they are missing pieces and everything is in imperial units, which is kind of an problem for me.
Hiroshiman,
Try www.8020.net - they have downloads of all there aluminum extrusions material. I believe you can create the size in metric then download.
Thanks,
Dave
It looks like 8020.net updated their website. Last time I tried to order directly from them they referred me to the nearest engineering affiliate to order through. I just put together an order and progressed through the the shipping phase of checkout and it was pretty user friendly.
You can purchase directly from 80/20 Inc. now, but you will be paying full list price. If you buy from a top tier distributor, you can usually negotiate a discount. In our opinion, 80/20 offers the highest quality t-slot extrusions available with superior anodizing/color - and very tight tolerances, so you won't be disappointed when you measure your new machine for mechanical slop after its all built.
