i was wondering when compared to a smithy1240, since both machine use the same frame, what are the advantage of the x6 over its competitor.

we use brushless motor,also a lot of accessories like stand,coolant,table cover,trush tary. total be standard parts included....then the machine look more beauty....
later X6 plus will be same funcation like X4 plus.and machine will be a little bigger too.

Hello all! I'm also new in the CNC zone.
I wanted to join because I'm looking for an affordable CNC mill for prototyping.
Wonder if this new machine is an alternative for the Tormach I've been looking at?

Price of steel now 1/2 of 2008 and many millions unemployed mean much cheaper labor
