| I have seen what's said to be the 'production' machine and I can't wait to get my hands on one of them! It truly looks to be the mill of all mills... I've been sworn to secrecy but I hope they get some detail specs/info/pics on their website soon. djn |

How could any reasonable, sane individual answer the poll with the information available? oh yeah...there isn't any. If you visit one of the Syil websites that hasn't been updated recently (www.syil.com.in) you get nominal dimensions of table size & travels...no specs on spindle motor or taper...no specs on type of drivetrain (manual or cnc; stepper or servo)...none of the data or techno-lust stuff that any reasonable, sane individual would even contemplate trading his money for...so...since you have some kind of info and seem to be testing the waters w/this...spill the beans! If you work for the company...I hope that their sales strategy is better than this. Because my 7yr old nephew is smarter than that. If you don't work for the company...cough up the facts. They can't take away your bday or stamp your meal-card NO DESSERT! If they didn't want you running your mouth, they wouldn't have told you anything to begin with. The whole deal about keeping secrets...especially industrial secrets. Non-essentials aren't given the keys to the kingdom. So give us a bone to chew on...not the suggestion of supper cooking. I could imagine salivating over the next great supercar and wanting to purchase it....but without a manufacturer, a body style, a color, a type of engine, a list of features...it becomes little more than mental masturbation to keep one busy momentarily between tasks. Not exactly the way that I or any other business owner would run a sales campaign. |

| You are one hell of a guy. I really look forward to reading your future posts, especially if they are anything like the one below. Keep up the good work. Could one of the mod's please do me a favor and delete this poll/thread. 307startup highly disapproves of the manner in which I've presented my poll and the lack of detailed information regarding the product itself. Honestly, I'm downright ashamed of myself and will probably stay clear of any polling in the future. djn

honestly it coming, during my trip to china, i seen it with my own eyes. it may tentatively be released next month, don't hold me to that. I will try to post some information soon, we must all understand that when working on a new product they can not let the cat out of the bag till its ready to go, as this may give the competitors a edge. |

Syil Canada... How is presenting info giving your competitors an edge? Tormach, Smithy and IH ALREADY have working machines. Not sure who else has a machine in the category you're trying to introduce. So that is an unlikely excuse. More likely, the model you saw in China at the EXPO was a mockup. If it's real, not vaporware, introductions should begin BEFORE the product arrives. Much like new vehicles... |

first off im the syil dealer for canada, second off the x7 i was playing with was at the syil factory in china, not at a trade show. one of the main purposes of our trip was to review the new x7 and the new x6. i spoke to syil china last night, and we will be releasing the details on the new machines in the next week. As dealers we are aware of lots of things syil are working on, we are not allow to discuss them. dont worry you guys will be the first to know, i even have video and when i am able to publish it you guys will also be the first to see it. its not a conspiracy, just business |

| You announced it more than 18 months ago, it will be old before it's new. Also what about the X4 speedmaster that I see on the Canadian webiste, but no price. and not even listed in the store, more vaporware I guess. In fact the whole http://www.syil.ca/ website seems to be a bit of a disaster area. Not a very good advert. It might not be a conspiracy but it doesn't look like good business either. Phil ![]() |
