Now you need a serious enclosure so you can run the coolant flat out, the spindle flat out and make lots of metal chips. Do you use the mobile phone for a calculator?
I thought someone would like to see some pictures of my recently delivered X4+.
As a new to CNC boy, I have done some simple jobs like engraving, pocket milling, drill pattens etc. strange things tended to happen with the machine initially however these have now settles down, thanks to Frans sending me the profile, and John helping out.
The machine quality is far better that the Super X3 I bought 18 months ago, finish is also much better.
I had problems trying to reference the a Z axis and found the proximity limit switch with loose connections, I email Syil on Sunday afternoon and received a response that evening (yes Sunday), on Monday the replacement part was sent from China, I collected a bag full of switches on Friday from TNT depot in Perth Western Australia. Absolutely super service, well done Syil!!!
I'm currently waiting for BobCam V21 to arrive so I can get my teeth into some serious work, I have only been game to machine MDF up to now, but this will change.

It is a calculator, you're correct with the enclosure, but lets walk first, then I will start to jog! (excuse the pun)
