    Coolant for a noob!

I am going to be working with 316 and also Ti and i would like to know which coolant you guys think works best. I really do not want to mix it and i just want to buy it ready to pour. I don,t care about cost or if it smells like rotten ass, i just want to know what works best. Thanx Greg

Any coolant you get will require mixing with water, but it's quite easy. OIL stands for Oil In Last. Makes a huge difference. Just put 4.5 gallons of water in a 5 gallon pail and pour 10% or whatever strength you want on top of the water and then add it to the machine. No need for a proportioning mixer. for tough materials like that, I would go straight to a traditional soluble, chlorinated oil, like WS-5050 by Rustlick or Blaser 4000 or Hangsterfer's 1000. Shipping is the killer, so buying locally is the trick. 8-10% is probably a good staarting concentration for such tought materials. Maybe even 12% for roughing endmills and drilling.
