| I have just landed a possible project and need to do it on a CNC milling machine. The job is small enough to run on the Syil SX3 and entails machining cut-outs through the wall of an aluminium extrusion. The thickness of material to be removed is approximately 1,6mm (1/16th") and is a rectangle of around 50 X 16mm (2" x .6"). My question is: will the SX3 manage 15000 (fifteen thousand) of these cut-outs? in other words running constantly for approximately 8 hours a day for 4 weeks. Your comments on this will be most appreciated. Best regards Theo |
