Adjusting the Z-Axis Gibb | | I found out last week that my process to adjust the Z-Axis gibb on my Syil SX3 was completely wrong. When I got the mill I pulled all of the gibbs and cleaned them. On the Z-Axis I tighted the upper screw as tight as I could with a large screwdriver but the head has always had a lot of deflection. http://www.cnczone.com/forums/showpo...9&postcount=23
Wwendorf posted this description of how to adjust the gibb in the Benchtop Mill forum. Without it I would have never known that there is another adjusting screw under the head. His instructions are very detailed but I think I need to attempt the process before I can visuallize what he is describing.
Anyone else care to post a description or video of how they adjust their Z-Axiz gibbs. Is there any Syil documentation that explains this process?
