| Syil recommends using Mach3 to control the mill and there are many CAD/CAM platforms that support Mach3. You could probably get a much more complete list if you post on the ArtSoft forums but I know that there are posts that work with BobCad, CamBam, FeatureCAM, MasterCam, VisualMill, etc. |

| I really like SheetCam. It has been evolving and has been very well supported for the few years I have had it licensed. Les is also coming out with a totally new design. Sheet Cam TNG. It has some nice features already as well and promises to be even better. I have Mesh Cam for the 3D side. I don't yet use it much, but have played with it. It is very capable as well. Vectric software has some nice programs. They are a little spendy, but everyone says they are well worth the price, so not really spendy. I have played some with the trials and they are pretty sweet.

| I use the Dolphin PartMaster Level 3 Milling package with my SX3 and they have a couple of post processors for Mach2/3 that work fine. I am also now using the Vectric Cut2D program that is working fine with the SX3 controlled by Mach3. Not sure what programs come with post processors for both the mill and the lathe, and I know Dolphin has a seperate program for the Lathe. Regards,
