Greetings, I am thinking of purchasing a CNC for knife building. There was a picture of some students milling knifes in last months HAAS magazine. http://s169.photobucket.com/albums/u...ebyHAASCNC.jpg Would the Super X4 be able to mill out knives in 01/D2 tool steel and SS? I know that the feed rates would have to be reduced compared to these monster CNC mills. I am also thinking of some incredible ideas for inlay handles, etc. Please provide any feedback on the X3 and/or X4 (or any other mill you may suggest). Regards, Dennis |
