| I have a some questions regarding the 4th axis configuration: - what is the standard for setting Zero in this axis? in one of the extremes of the screw or in the middle? - how do you reference this axis at startup? - the 4th axis is supposed to go around 360 or a little more? (or a little less?) Using my "eyemeter" it seems its some degrees short of 360º I machined a wood piece and made a small video (will upload in next post) but I didn't finished the piece because of these doubts. Thanks in advance Last edited by PEU; 12-13-2007 at 07:11 PM. |

| Zero of a A is usually your Z axis 0 plane, or 0 degrees. Their is no referance on the Z. The A can go around any number of degrees you specify. 720, 1023, 20, etc. One full revolution is 360 degrees.
