Recommedation on Vacuum table?

For SX3.
I found out I need to do some cutting on thin metals (probably better suited for router but I don't have space for any more machine :P)
Any recommendations? Lower the price better, smaller the power requirement better... of course while having good hold down strength
Lot of it will be cut through so recommendation based on the use will be helpful too.
Thanks guys

Ever try double sided tape? If you can get away with running it dry double sided tape works great as long as you have enough flat surface area. See McMaster-Carr #76405A15 for reference.

Maybe you can tab(bridge) the part in the blank at 4 corners etc. for some of the parts. Also foiling(leave .001" mat'l) the part in several locations does well at holding things together in aluminum and usually cleans up fairly easily. I know these are work-arounds and you probably want the vacuum table anyway, but thought I'd suggest them. Good luck finding an affordable vacuum table and let us know what you find.

Hi
Have a look here - an ebay seller in Germany who seems to sell a lot of them.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Vacuum-table-2...QQcmdZViewItem
I don't have one of these and don't know the seller but I have seen a few different types go on ebay for OK money.

The one shown in the video is not so good for jobs that are cut through.

However if you have a vacuum source then make custom hold down jigs to suit repeat jobs.

Something along the line of the one shown would work, except instead of a square grid for the sealing material
you could make channels to suit a particular profile.

If you already have a CNC mill making the jigs is easy.
