| Not familiar with specific machine. BUT am real familiar with bearing fitting. If the bearing is slip fit/no slop on the shaft, it probably has a collar that clamps it into position - simply tighten the collar. IF the bearing fits and is held onto the shaft via press fit, you really need to re-establish a proper fit. I'd be inclinded to chrome plate the shaft and then have it reground to a proper fit by someone who does precision OD grinding. Do a "bearing fit" search on CNC Zone for my repeated diatribes on the proper fitting of bearings to shafts. |

| In the part diagram you will see the locking nut on the top. You remove the top idler bearing and pulley, it is underneath that. They need to be tightened periodically. Say every few hundred hours. Tighten and then back it off 1/16th of a turn. This will give the the proper pre-load. Any tighter and you will burn it up. Loose and you will induce some spindle run out.
