I recently received a Syil X2 conversion kit and have been slowly working through the mechanical conversion of my mill. It seems as though the kit contains all of the necessary parts for the conversion but did not include any documentation at all, not even a packing list. From pictures of the kit I have come across on various web sites I have been able to basically figure out most of the assembly but am now getting to the point of connecting the stepper motors and limit switches. Does anyone have an electronic copy of the wiring schematic for the stepper controller box that they would care to share? The box itsself has no labels for the connections and I really don't want to connect something incorrectly. I sent an email to support@syilamerica.com regarding this issue but haven't has any response at all from them. Any help would be appreciated. Jim Last edited by jim_f; 07-22-2007 at 09:23 PM. |

Hi there, While looking the syil controller box from the top (with the top aluminum cover removed), you may connect the steppers according to the following diagram: |-----------------------------------------------| | Axes stepper drivers | | Z Y X |-----------------------| | | | | | | R R R | | | | G G G | POWER SUPPLY | | | B B B | 48V | | | Y Y Y | | | | | | | | R R R | | | | B B B |----1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 -- | | |-----------------------------------------------| R: red, G: green, B:blue, Y:yellow for stepper motors R: red, B: blue 48V from power supply regards, Timo |
