Hi,
Have you tried looking at the Diagnostics page in Mach3? It should help you figure out if your settings are configured correctly for the home/limit switches. The Artsoft web site has some troubleshooting videos that may help you figure out the problem here:

Hi Wes!

Thanks for help! I’m working ont the problem, but I have never used the Mach3 before.
I don’t understand this one position home/limit switch situation, but I try to figure it out!

Hi Tamas,
Have you tried to download the Artsoft videos or view them? They do have a troubleshooting video that deals with limit switches etc. and I think it may be helpful. I am fairly new to Mach3 also, but I found the videos to be very helpful. I had thought maybe the active low setting for the Home switch may be reversed, but it will probably show up on the diagnostics page with the yellow LED lights on for the M1,M2, or M3 home switches on??
Regards,
Wes

Hello Friends!

Thanks for all!

I found the problem. The x and the y limit switch pin setup was wrong.
I changed the pin numbers. Now it is OK!
I set up the soft limit switches. I can control the spindle by M codes.
I can't load those videos. I don’t know why?!
I got help from China! Xushou send me the mm setup file!
Thank you Xushuo!
The next step is to set the motor steps.
When I send the working table to the other direction It makes a mistake.
I measured 0,14mm. It happens on the x and z directions!
Can I correct it with the motor tuning settings?

Thanks!

Exclamation

You can do that. But I suggest you do a little reading on the Mach 3 forum. If you have not downloaded the little book, YOU SHOULD. Tuning the motors, and seting up the ratios is little harder than the switches. + by the time someone typed how, you could have downloaded the book and read it. It really isn't that much, and it will help because it shows screen shots...
