Hi Scyan,
I have a syil x3 and I had the same roblem as you have.
To solve that you have to do some home work and checking your machine. I don't think that hte problem is on the G-code, although when you crate the program (I don't know what CAM program you used) use a tolerance of at least .001" or smaller.
To fix the machine you have to check the gibs on the X and Y axis. Turn off the machine, Disconnect the stepers from the lead screw and try to move freely the table without any dragging or any clereance that allows non linear movement of the table. You can setup this by adjusting the four set screws in each axis that tighten the gibs.
After you put together the machine you need to check the steps. To do that setup an dial indicator on X axsis and fix a hard block against the DI. By pressing Alt+6 on Mach3 you go to calibration panel, and go in the bottom left corner where is axis calibration. select x axis and tell the machine that you want to move the axis for .5", the machine will move for .5" and you read the DI if the machine moved .5 or not. The value that you read in DI input in the window that is asking for result. It will automatically update the steping. Repeat the same procedure for all three axis. I solve this problem in this way, may be thare are other ways. |
