Our shipment (2 kits) from Syil was/is missing X-axis backplates for both kits. Syil thinks they where lost during the shipment (despite the fact, that the cartoon box was broken very little - only 1 end of 1 ball screw was somewhat out of the box as my buddy noticed - I even not noticed it in 1st moment - but I actually even don't care about reasons, for my matters only the fact, that i don't received those plates) seems not interested at all to send immediate replacement as the shipment cost is very high and they are offering to send me drawings only... As they actually sent to me also coolant pumps rated to wrong voltage - ok, I really don't repeated on EVERY SINGLE email the voltage specs and maybe they really missed the right emails where it was written, and I was not aware about need to separately ask/purchase for rotary table adapter plates and dummy Z-axis handle opening cover plates and, to be honest, also some items come with minor problems (1 pcs of bent smaller servo cover, 1 pcs of scratched coolant tank /reason: really bad packaging/, 1 pcs of rusted magnetic base, painted over with black paint). So, as it seems very time consuming task to finally have those items sent to me ASAP and for no cost (currently we have had many weeks long email discussion only, discussing mainly how easy it is for me to repaint rusted magnetic base and so on) we are very disappointed that we can not start converting our mills. So, my question - could it even be an option to transfer my existing SIEG original X-axis backplate into the missing Syil X-axis backplate? Or do I need to completely re-manufacture this plate here? It still seems to be the only (but not very good) idea - to re-produce those missing items here and re-invoice Syil those manufacturing costs... Definitely not the easiest option too... Anyway - lessons learned - don't pay 100% of the money beforehand if you don't have plenty of time to deal with complains and only wait, wait, wait... And you don't have easy options to throw physically the providers door open with your feet ;-( Having done a lot of very smooth and successful internet based purchases I have almost forgot, that even if you can thrust companies and most private persons both in Europe and USA, China is definitely NOT having the same (organizational) culture.... And this is probably the reason you don't have ANYWHERE (not web, not coming with shipping papers) available shipping list on part level, helping you out WHAT should the purchased conversion kit really contain and what was really shipped to you. You are basically just getting 1 box per kit of something hopefully related to your X3 conversion. Any ideas & suggestions are welcome - hopefully mostly related to this X-axis backplates... Could somebody easily manufacture 2 pcs of those plates for me? PS. Also, Syil don't warned beforehand that our shipment contained "no openings made"-versions for all mounting plates. Unfortunately, those openings are neither drilled but also not even marked to the mounts. So, if somebody has measurement data available, where those openings should made, I would be very thankful too. Thanks to Greolt, for X-axis mount there is something available http://www.cnczone.com/forums/showpo...1&postcount=85, but how the other 2 mounts should look like? I. | Syil, ok, thanks, I sent you email yesterday and am waiting to shipment list and date... SP. You can still use ship, but why not to use wooden box instead of cartoon? Or, please cartoon box into wooden one, even better. In that case it will last much more and nothing bad happens. I think, in our case _maybe_ the cartoon got some wet weather and wet cartoon is not the strongest box material ![]() Also, you can put more bubble material inside the box |
