Long story short, due to some design of the machines, I am actively looking to find a way to attach limit switches to SX3 controller box to protect potential further issues I can see down the line. I am bit tired of idea of referecing machine to home for keeping myself safe each time machine is turned off as well as possible mistake i could make. Any help would be appreciated. |

| Jinu You can make the homing switches to do double duty as limits. If you have the Syil setup have a look at this thread to see how I put tabs in to activate both ends of travel as limits. http://www.cnczone.com/forums/showpo...1&postcount=48 However I have found that I do not need the limits and use the soft limits in Mach instead. The soft limits work very reliably for me. You really must reference after powering up. It is the only way to let Mach know where everything is. We're only talking short travels so it happens pretty quick |

| A axis does not require any limit switching. If you wanted something on the A axis, you would need some type of switch and trigger attached to some point on the 4th axis rotory table. Could be easy to do, but I really don't see a function of it.

| I am not sure how accurate can such device for a-axis would be to be honest unless direction is limited to one way for checking. When I have some time, I surely will put liiter the way Greolt has set his. That should prevent any mistake I could possibly make... |
