    pulley error

I have X5 with 4 axis. Trying cut in 4 ax got error in Mach 3 pulley error. I see pulley settings. Don't know what pully is what and don't know setting. Please someone with working unit share ur mach pulley settings and 4 axis speed/motor tuning. I did 4 axis config test in settings so at least I know it moves right distances. Thanks

I've got this thing totally screwed up. I should be doing a 15 hr cut. I am 26 hrs in and maybe 5% done. I'm running with an error, PWV or somthing like that. It's a pully speed error. It has set the machine down to run on it's most minimum setting. It seems like it is cutting out the design correctly, but the rate it's going will take a couple weeks or more!!! Messing with the motor tuning on the 4 axis in Mach 3 maybe made it even worse, I don't know. If anyone can help me with the Mach setting for this set up, I'd sure appreciate it!

4th axis safe speed is something around 1000 degrees/minute that is less than 3 turns per minute, if your piece uses the 4th axis all the time interpolated with other axis movements then its the slowest speed the one that will make your machine go slow, in this case the A axis.

IMHO the pulleys have nothing to do here as they only refer to the spindle speed, not the axis.

ok, that sounds like motor tuning correct? Do I tune A to accel and velocity both at 1000?

What do you have your X,Y,Z motor tunings set to? I'd like to be sure all 4 axis are set at the right motor tuning for accel and velocity.

    for the X5 I use:

    x-y-z 3000mm/min and 200accel
    a 1000mm/min and 200accel
