Tormach 770 or syil x5 I'mlooking for your thoughts

G'day to all

I am contemplating a CNC mill purchase for hobby work in the garage at home.
The 2 contenders are the Tormach 770 and the Syil X5.
I am interested to here any of your thoughts either way on either mill.

I have an early Tormach Series 1 PCNC 1100 mill and it is still going strong several years after it was purchased. I can still buy any parts needed to maintain it, including control components and have them shipped from stock for delivery in 1 or 2 days. I can also get tech support by phone or email and can be assured of a response the same day. The company continues to come out with new accessories that were designed for and will fit my mill.

That might not be the case with Syil.

Service and support from Tormach is very good. (1100 series) Replacement parts readily available and in inventory. Returned phonecalls asap if they didn't have an immediate answer. Have no problems recommending them as a vendor. Visited their facility in Wisconsin and they are passionate about their product and know how to take care of their customers.

Can't say any of the above about Syil China given my experiences.
