The Siemens 802s shows on their (Siemens) website to be a stepper type servo, is that correct?

    802s is for stepper

    802c is for servo.

If you want to use a 4th axis, the 802c is 3 axis only, you will have to buy another model of controller.

I really would like to buy the new V7 but lack of response and lack of email keep me on my guard.

I'm not sure I would send them more than $20000 and never get any replies about my purchase and the 380v really surprise me, another spending for a step up transformer, only have 220v in my shop.

Looking for a reply from their side. Hope they'll see this post and answer, if not, they will loose another possible customer, ME

Yes I do understand the lack of communication!!
I have sent emails to several overseas companys and have not recieve any response.
But they will blog about great things they will do , but without service even before the sale is poor... what about after the sale?

    great service makes great company's

Yes, they will probably reply something like:

    Syil better than Novakon

    Better design, etc

But they will not answer what we ask them about their own products.

    I`m sorry,it is 220v AC 3 Phase.

also,we use 802s,and v7,it is full servo machines. no any relative with stepper..

but problem it is only for 3 axis workings....

if add 4th axis ,the cost not cheap..

we are also communicate with funnc wait for them quote 4th axis controller cost..

Give credit where credit is due. It is a nice machine, looks well finished, has a toolchanger, coolant etc.
With it being 3 phase it wont be for us, but that comes with the servo's and controller.

It will probably be quite a bit more expensive if it makes its way to Europe so would probably be as cheap to get a good used 2nd hand Haas or Bridgeport VMC over here.

Still it is a very nice looking machine which I wouldn't mind having.

    Looks like a nice control.
The 802S is listed as stepper motor controller

Same one as used by optimum on there cnc machines with stepper motors.

    Optimum Machines: F100CNC

The servo version is used on these

    Optimum Machines: F100TC-CNC

In this catalogue several of the machines used 802S control also

Yes it is a very nice looking machine!
Most people will not have 3 phase power, but a phase convertor could be an option.

Just wondering what the price will be ?

Low 20's I am guessing with Seimens controller is made in that country anyway.

With servo systems, phase converters are not recommended generally.
