    Syil X7 short displacement table

    Hi.

    I'm interested buying a X7 mill.

Asked some questions on their website but no response so far.

Why the X7 has a shorter table than the X6. Is the larger table (40 inches by 12) is available with linear guides. The one on the X6 has dovetails.

    19.6 X 11.8 for the X6 plus vs 15.7 X 9.45 for the X7, this is kind of weird.

Looked at some other brand but 1.5Kw spindle is not enough for me, prefer the 2.95Kw motor. I like the 6000 RPM for doing alu.

Syil look like they have some very interesting upgrade to offer, like ATC and tool Changer.

Just would like to know what some have to say about that.

    Thank you very much, Jeff

Hi, thanks for the reply, very interested seeing some pics and video of the tool changer.

X7 look like to be a great machine but would prefer larger table and faster spindle, you never have enough.

    Email at : cubitus_61@hotmail.com

    Thanks, Jeff

Does the ATC will work with BT30 Spindle or only R8 model ?

On the prototype ATC in the video, tolls are on a support at the end of table, X7 has short displacement so can't afford to lose more space on the table.

i really don`t konw what you think....

novakon nm200,just same as our x6 big table.,but we cheap around 1000$.
and syil canada can do the drop shipping from china to your place.

it is really not same machine you can compare the x7.
    nm200/x6 just a z axis linear.and 3500rpm spindle. still a benchtop cnc.
but x7 have a solid casting stands.more and big coloum.6000rpm,and 3 axis linear. blance block. machine around double weight compare nm200/x6

    also,later can update the ATC...

This do not answer my question why the X7 has such small displacement for a bigger mill.

Just wanted to know if the X7 could be available with a bigger table, 15 inches in the X axis is only 2 inches longer than the NM 135 from Novakon.

I don't know if Novakon is a better mill than Syil X7 or X6 but would have appreciated the linear bearing with more displacement.

You did not either answered my question about ATC for the BT30 spindle.

The new NM 200 has a 6000 RPM spindle too with 3HP motor.

I do not want a debate about which one is a better mill, I want a mill that can be upgrade with new functions like ATC and others features.

I love the table size of the X6 with the big table version but I want a 6000 RPM spindle

    Thanks for your input.

    then you can understand.

    Hi,

Will the X7 be updated with larger axis travel in the future. An update for 2011 model would be great.

    Thanks, Paul
