CANT GET CITIZEN M20 TO RUN SET AMOUNT OF PARTS
Hi
I have a '96 citizen M20 with a Mitsubishi control. im new to swiss style machining but im getting the hang of it. Only problem i have is keeping the machine running continuously. im using the gang tools for turning and milling and the turret for drilling a hole in the face of the part. After its done machining the part the machine stops at the M2. I'm only using line $1 (G711 & G712). I cant figure out how to make the machine run continuously for a set amount of parts. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm running a-32's with the mitsubishi control
my guess would be that all the program lines must be used even if your program is for $1
Try putting an m99 after the m2's
and you should have a parts counter to control the number of parts before the control will alarm out on the parts count

Thank you for the reply but I already have an M99. I have the counter set to run 10 parts but it always stops at the M2 after one part. The machine just sits there like its waiting for something. Im guessing my program is wrong but I cant figure it out.
Here is my program

You are in "Cont" mode I assume? Thats the only way it would ignore the M2.
