    EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION

    Hi,

I just installed Surfcam V5 and when ever I try to save or access tools I get an 'EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION' popup and I then can't view any tools or save.

Thanks in advance for any help!

I think I had this problem a couple of years ago and in my case it was because I copied my old .mdb files from previous version after installation of the latest Surfcam version.
I had a lot of customized tools that I wanted to keep for future use but at the end I had to re-install the new Surfcam version and then re-create my tools. I donīt know if this information will help you but I thought it could be a clue... /Thomas

    Sorry for the late reply,

This is a fresh install of Surfcam V5. I have never had any other Surfcam on this computer. I have searched and searched but have found nothing to fix this.

Just a guess, but did you have an antivirus program running when you installed? That could have messed with something.

What operating system are you using?
Just when you thought you had it all figured out, all hell breaks loose..

I am running Windows 7 64-bit and I did have Trend Micro running.
I will try to reinstall with it off when I get a chance.

    Thank you.
