cant use the rest matirial properly in surfcam

I am contouring closed curvs but need to use the rest matirial to cut areas with a smaller tool , but its taking so much time because its going up the Z axis on each layer of cut ..

In the rest material operation, go into 2-axis options tab and set the feed between (uppermost box) to a larger value until you see on the screen that the rapids up to the top have disappeared. The value should be larger than the distance the cutter has to move between the end of one level and the start of the next.

Then, further down on the same page, make sure the "depth first" checkbox is checked. That should do the trick. --ch
