Hi all, we have v2 sc. Is there any way that I can pick the start point for true mill pocket cycle and the path of the tool? how can I make the tool Helix down from the different Z depth, not from Z0? Thanks Last edited by qmas99; 08-28-2008 at 01:34 PM. |

| If your geometry for example is drawn at Z0 that is where your tool path will be. If you draw your geometry below Z0 or at your actual Z depth needed your tool path will start there. Surfcam knows where to start when Creating your part geometry on different planes. your tool will start where you chain your geometry. So if you have a pocket or hole. draw it at the desired Z level instead of Z0 and then chain your tool path the tool will start at that plane. Hope this helps |
