so i finally got velocity3 to install (that is another story!) and for some reason it wont pull in the solids and surfaces from an Autocad drawing. it will get the 2d objects but nothing else. after emailing surfware about this i got this answer: “The AutoCAD translator in the current version (Velocity 3 SP2) does not support AutoCAD 2008 files. This format will be supported in Velocity 4.” but i have found that it will not use any 3d data from any version of autocad has anyone found a workaround? looks like it is back to "good ol' velocity 2" thanks john  |
