| Does anyone know how to create surface onto an IGES file in order to create a cnc program. The IGES file is a wireframe model and in order to apply machining parameters it needs to be have a surface. Also I would like to know how to use an IGES file for 3-axis machining. Thanks. cncneo1 |

| You must just be beginning the CNC craft. IGES also means "i guess" because it is sometimes unpredictable. Import and export work fine with most CNC packages but it's up to you to know proper programming. You need to study up on your software user's manual for something so basic as importing IGES files. |
