How can I cut an .stl file with surfcam?

I have had to use STL files from a 3 D scanner to write tool paths on. They can't be imported into Velo 3 directly, as far as I know. I have converted them in Rhino 3D to STEP files for direct import into Velo 3. I wish they still had direct import, STL's are common in prototyping and 3 D scanning....

Short answer: you can't. Surfcam does not have any way of machining mesh files. Probably one of the few CAM programs out there that still can't. --ch
