peck tapping

How to modify post for peck tapping?

The only peck tapping that I have seen is with a rigid tap cycle and then just add a Q with a peck depth as with G73 or G83.
But to tell you the truth I have yet come across a reason use a peck tap.
The only reason I know about the above is that I had an operator accidentally added it not knowing.

please use custom1 or custom2 or custom3 in Surfcam Canned Cycle and then add the your xxxxx.m3 within Cycle record as following:

Custom1
G84 G[RetPlane] X[H] Y[V] Z[D] R[Vclear] Q[VBite] P[Dwell] F[FRate]/[Speed]
end cancel
(This one the F value is Thread Pitch)

or

Custom1
G84 G[RetPlane] X[H] Y[V] Z[D] R[Vclear] Q[VBite] P[Dwell] F[FRate]
end cancel
