| flat land finishing Hi I am looking to use the 3d flat land finishing to machine a complex pocket. I would like to keep the endmill tangent to the edge of the pocket. What I am getting now, is a toolpath where the centerline is on the edge of the pocket. Is it possible to do this with this type of toolpath? Thank You |

| You can use the wireframe to create a pocket with a small stepover and then project the toolpath onto the surfaces with 3d project. You can do a planar toolpath. You can simply use "cut" and pick each surface individually. You can use 3d offset with 2d boundaries, and order the cut outside->in Chris |
