Hi guys, I have a slight problem with a part we make. Machine is a Makino a61, the part is a stator vane that is located in the middle of the B axis, tool 1/2 ball nose. Any who I program the part in a zig fashion, where the mill starts at the top of work piece and spirals down. The problem is before I can get to the bottom the control alarms out cause by b axis movements are greater than 99,999*. Speed and finish are critical. I can't use zig-zag because customer is very picky, not to mention it is a little slower. Is there a remedy in surfcam or? Oh machine control is makino professional 5. Thanks, Wolf |

| If you are using the MPost then search in postform.m which one you are using and modify the B register. B ->3.>3 mod 360 or B ->3.>3 mod 360 mult -1 It just add the mod 360 for the B register! Then you could output 0.001 -->359.999 --> 0.001 and also postive way! Maybe you also need to modify your parameter about the B axis in the controller. If you are using SPost, you need to use SPost Configuration to modify your Uncx01.Pxx |
