Need Help!- Surfcam 5_2 Dongle issues

I currently work IT for a manufactoring company. I have a user who we just upgraded to Windows 7 64 bit and after installing Surfcam 5_2 when the usb dongle is plugged in the local usb printer will start printing pages non stop that have "USBCBIOS$C" on the header..

This only occurs on startup. When I boot the machine without the dongle plugged in the printing issue does not occur. I apologize on my lack of knowledge of surfcam, and I am not a familiar user of the software, I am just trying to help out one of our CNC programmers.

The user did contact surfcam tech support and they said they never heard of this issue.

Now i am contacting this frum trying to figure out if anyone else is having this issue.

I’ve not seen or heard of this before but with Surfcam anything’s possible.

Since you’ve already talked to tech support some of my suggestions may have been already suggested but here goes:

Try installing in another computer, if it still does it I would suspect a faulty SIM provided everything was installed correctly.

Make sure you have the latest Sentinel Protection drivers installed that are supplied with the software.

Did you install in the C drive root directory per Surfcam’s instructions? Not sure how this would affect the printer.

Uninstall the printer driver, reinstall with latest driver from Mfg.

I think we have it pinned down to the user's old brother printer. we are going to swap him out with a new printer and see if this resolves the issue.
