I’ve not seen or heard of this before but with Surfcam anything’s possible.
Since you’ve already talked to tech support some of my suggestions may have been already suggested but here goes:
Try installing in another computer, if it still does it I would suspect a faulty SIM provided everything was installed correctly.
Make sure you have the latest Sentinel Protection drivers installed that are supplied with the software.
Did you install in the C drive root directory per Surfcam’s instructions? Not sure how this would affect the printer.
Uninstall the printer driver, reinstall with latest driver from Mfg.
