I need a post for a Southbend Magnaturn 1218 CNC lathe. I teach part time at a community college. I am in my second semester teaching and I have discovered that the college has forgotten about their machining technology program. They were using GibbsCam but have let the maintenance expire on it and I know nothing abot GibbsCam. I have put in a request for an upgrade and training but have yet to get any results. So I am behind the 8 ball trying to teach the students how to operate the CNC lathe. I could write a program in MDI but the machine limits you to 12 lines of code. where is the fun in that. If anyone has a post for Surfcam and would be willing to share with me I could write some programs at my daytime job and get by for the time being. Thanks  |

| It's a bit tricky. We haven't needed one in a while but our rep always did ours for us. |
