Angry 4 Axis Indexing On Horizontal (B-Axis)

Is anybody using Velocity 5.1 for 4 axis indexng on a horizontal with a B-axis?
Surfcam says that a seat of 3 axis plus will do 4-axis indexing.

I have read and done everything in the help files to set it up, but cant get it to post out the B-axis angle changes properly.

    I'm programming a Makino Horizontal w/Pro5 controller.
The closest post I can find is a post for a Mazak M2 w/b-axis.

The problem is it post an "A" for the angle change, where the Pro5 uses a "B". Also it does not post the unclamp (M11) & clamp (M10) commands that the Pro5 requires before & after rotation.

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

Is your problem simply needing a post for your machine? Are you getting the angles you want, just not the right axis call out? Modding a post is pretty simple. You might even find some sample 4th axis posts in there if you root around in the post samples... But in the short term, edit the "Mazak M2 w/b-axis" post to output "B" instead of "A".... Make sure to add "B" to the modal comand line in the post header or you could use a "replace" call at the end of the post to swap B for A, either will work.

    Thanks ToyMaker94566,

I believe problem is with the post. It outputs proper angle but not proper letter for axis rotation. Also leaves out the clamp & unclamp command.

    I tried all 4 axis post in s-post & m-post libraries.
I understand how to edit prog but don't want to do this forever.

Mazak post is close. Not sure how to mod post to add clamp & unclamp and change axis letter.

I'm not familiar with your control so if you could put up a sample of what you want the code to look like in the program, I'll see if I can give you an edit to insert in the post.

    ie. unclamp/clamp
