    Thumbnails

Jeez.. People, get this sorted out. It took me over 15 minutes of trying just about everything before I got here. You have a "CNC Zone suggestions" forum. Put a "Post comment" button very prominently where people can see it. No wonder it said "no comments in the last 30 days". Bad web design or I'm just cranky.

OK, got that out of the way. Here's why I'm here.

I read a post. Some posts have thumbnails. If I want to see a thumbnail expanded, I'll click on it. I don't want to accidentally hover my mouse over a thumbnail and have it open automatically. It drives me nuts.

Why? Some people, I'm one, use their mouse to rapidly underline what they are reading. Just a natural habit. The mouse passes under text and if you are like me, it sometimes hits a thumbnail I'm not interested in seeing. The screen goes black, a timer starts and I go "Oh crap, I didn't want this".

Please fix it like you had it before. I want to see a thumbnail, I click on it. Not this automatic stuff; it's irritating. Thanks.

    Mariss

    Automatic picture!!!

I have to second your sentiments.
Ebay does the same thing on some listings and it drives me crazy.
If I want to expand it I will.

I suppose making it optional would be too much to ask.

The majority is fast diminishing, down from 130,00 (missing zero?) to 129,990.

    LOL,

A while back they had complaints, to make the thumnails like they are now.

Total opposite of what this thread is...

    C'mon... make up your minds

Just a suggestion, leave things like they are, except change the timer in the popup, in vbulletin. Make the timer 3 or 4 times longer.

You can please some of the people all of the time, all of the people some of the time, but you cannot please all of the people all of the time.

Just another contribution for those against autonomous selection...if the majority of people are too lazy to click on a thumbnail that they want to see, should they be building their own projects or operating machinery?

Majority rule is mob rule. Would you let these people make important business decisions for you? They might just start asking for a paycheck along with their advice. I always thought this was a benevolent dictatorship, not a social collective.

Sure, after all the reason they build/use CNC machines is because they want the hardware and software to do the work for them.
