Ever the voice of reason, Geof. Though you did go and shoot my theory full of holes.
Personally, I will be quite nervous when my machines figure out how to communicate between themselves without my guidance, and program themselves with the workload...let alone deciding which parts to machine! More work can be done with machines, but it still requires a human master with intelligence to guide the process. I would have thought that getting more work done with less effort was the hallmark of the studious, not the lazy...after all, it does take quite a bit of initial effort and a steep learning curve.
I'll throw my 2 cents in and say that it is a bit irritating at times when the damn images start popping up for no good reason.![]()

I agree with the minority here, but understand the logic. Paul should be proud of his site but it would be nice if this could be "adjusted" to keep the pop ups down. I get crabby on ebay nowadays with the images there as well.
It's a no win situation for the Admin. However, if there was enough people asked, I get the feeling several of them would agree with Mariss, including myself.
Is there any "options" here to please both sides?
Dan
Check out what I am working on at www.routerbitz.com!
OK, makes sense. I believe in majority rule. I'll just have to stop underlining what I read and stop moving my lips while I read.:-)

Looks like CncAdmin has made the changes for no image pop-up.
I know for a fact that one of the members that has posted in this thread, saying they don't like the pop-up, had posted a few weeks back saying they want the popups.
You know who you are (ha, ha)!![]()

I believe the old issue was that they were opening in a new window, and we wanted them to open in the thread. Just not automatically.![]()

I second what Gerry just said.
I for one am happy to have to click on the image. To many times, before my mouse strayed in image territory and obscured what I was trying to read!
