Paul, I have made a mock example for you here.
It also has intructions to tell you how to do it. ( Just in case you didnt know, but I am sure you did )

The main dissincentive for me to do a review in the review section is that I cannot put pictures in amongst my text. I do not want to have pictures seperate from the text. If a person could post a PDF file then that would help with the picture problem.
I know that it is possible to upload a PDF but it then has to be downloaded to view it. I suggest that the option be made so that if a reader wanted to read the review that the pdf was displayed in the actual CNCzone page itself.
It may be argued that the reader can just download the review, but I know for myslef that just seeing I have to download a file is often a dissincentive to bother. If however the reader clicked the link for the review and noticed the page starting to open within their browser it may not be such a bother.
I have a review that I really want to do but wont be doing it just for the above mentioed reason. I know it wont be read if it is just one big fat lot of text with a few pictures attached at the bottom of the page. You will notice that magazine publishers dont just have loads of text and pictures at the bottom, there is good reasons to break up text with pictures.
Its sort of like eating meat for two weeks and after that eating vegies for the following week. The volume is the same, but the meals are not as pleasant.

Doesn't work for me. Firefox kills a popup and then then asks me to download a plugin. Aren't we trying to avoid that?
With a normal pdf file. I click on the link and it just opens in a new browser window with the file displayed in it. Nothing to download and no messing around.
What's wrong with that?
Regards Terry.....
Well mr bean your a wretch, it doesnt matter what good suggestion a person makes, the negatives are the first to come along and post a "I cant get it to work".
Did you know that PDF is as much a standard for the net as flash is. Its just like owning a car and saying you dont want to put Mag wheels on it, and then expecting every one else not to have mags just because you have chosen not to.

So....... What is The AUS meaning of "bugger". I know what it is over here in the UK, and I'm glad you edited your post. Thx.
How about asking admin if reviews could be submitted as html? Then email the html to admin for inclusion in the reviews section.
Regards Terry.....
I have noticed that the html has been messed up in the past, and it then means you have to upload the pics to some where like the gallery and then put in all the links. Much easier as PDF.
While in Aus we do know the true meaning of the word and its links to animals, to call someone a bugger does not have that conutation, it is more like saying you wretch or you goose or something far less than its real meaning. It probably has the same impact as using the word bloody in a scentence.
I remember in primary school we had an American teacher who used to say he was going to smack us on our fanny. You can imagine how the kids would crack up with laughter each time. In Aus, a fanny is the female part of a body.
I guess the same words have slightly different meanings in other countries.

The review section is what it is, I can upload your pdf and provide a link that can be placed in the review itself. You wanted one place for reviews and now you have it, customizing it will be a slow process. I still have the "CNCzone Magazine" section that we can place a html/pdf style reviews and articles.
Thank You,
