Photo gallery suggestions....

I always forget to tick the box that asks to be notified if there is a comment on a particular photo. Could it be default that a person is notified. You could reverese the option so that you have to tick it if you dont want to be notified.

Also, when a person makes a comment in some one elses photo gallery, could it be that they are then subscribed to that photo and all its subsequent comments., and motified by email ?

One other suggestion. Could we have it so that an email comes weekly with all the pictures that have been posted the previous week. The advantage is that CNCZone would only have to send out one email to all its photo subscribed members and it would save a tremendous amont of bandwitdth. It would also keep the viewer up to date with all the photos without have to check up regularly. Obviously this would be an option for those who were prepared to recieve such large emails. Think of it like this, If the email is sent to 1000 subscribers, cnczone serves for instance 1 x 4 meg email. At present CNC zone may sereve 1000 individual 4megs of files. You can see the huge saving with my suggestion. ( Oh and if its any incentive, you can put lots of adds in the emails too. If a person subscribes, they have to click that they are willing to accept the adds as well. )

The other advantage for the member is that they can keep all the files on thier own computer for future reference if they want.

EDIT: I keep thinking of advantages. There are a lot of users who forget about the Zone for one reason or another. If they got a regular email ( Upon request of course ) It may help to keep members interested and participating more. ( Just a thought )
