I have a CNC machine shop, and I love CNC forums! I was looking, and maybe I missed it but there sould be a section for painting (powder coating, oil based) I'm just getting into powder coating myself. And it goes hand in hand with what I do. And I'm sure a lot of other people would find this usefull. I was trying to find information on where to buy exotic powders, and this was the first place I thought of.
Where tO buy? That might not be covered -- pretty much everything else is! Annodizing/powder etc:
http://www.cnczone.com/forums/metal_finishing_plating/ Maybe help there? Also Caswell Plating has a Powders-only forum too. Some "exotics" too as I recall. So far my experience with powder is buying a kit and some powder on sale -- need an oven before I shoot.

Experience is the BEST Teacher. Is that why it usually arrives in a shower of sparks, flash of light, loud bang, a cloud of smoke, AND -- a BILL to pay? You usually get it -- just after you need it.
