I have an idea and was wondering if you might have time to make it happen?
Currently many "poster's" have posted a quick tutorial on "how to" do a certain task within the website. Ex: Posting a picture or an Image. The problem is, One has to read every post in each forum and still not find what their task is, and just keep "playing" until it's figured out. Too many of us are still computer illiterate and it seems to take forever to navigate, find, and execute a certain task within the website until you have "played around" long enough to get it executed properly. Then, six month's later, you need to execute that same task again and can't remember "How did I do that last time?" Currently, the only tutorials are from someone asking "How Too" and another poster will help them with their task at hand.
If, the site itself had a "locked" section, (called Site Instructions/Limitations) that would explain in detail and even illustrate, the "how to's". Again some examples are: 1) "How to edit your profile". 2) "How to insert a Smiley". 3) "How to Insert a photo". 4) "How to move a subscription to a different folder". 5) "How to use the Multi-quote option". 6) "How to insert an avatar". 7) "How to edit subscriptions and PM's". 8) etc.ect.etc.............!
Maybe, this could even be added to the task bars that show up at the top of each page?? Maybe all of this already exist's and I am too illiterate to find it. Again, this is just an idea to ponder on. Thanks for this great site.
