Supplier Index

Hi everyone

First i have to say that this is the BEST site ever, that is filled with sooooo much great info.....i love it
But i'm missing something....
It would be a really great thing to have a Supplier list or index with a small description of what they sell and comments on how reliable they are. And, the most important, where they are and to what country they ship to.

The reason for this is that i'm having a very hard time to get the materials that i need to make some of the great things that can be found here in CNCZone. There are people all over the world here, and everyone could add the info they have and there thoughts. Then we can all search for a nearest supplier that has a reliable and acceptable evaluation from the CNCZone members.
I think this would help a lot and make CNCZone even more interesting then it already is ( if that is possible ).....

The list of suppliers on cnc zone is good but unless i'm missing something obvious its not easy to sort by supplier country. I'm in the UK lots of the US links are valuable but not if there was a UK supplier that sold the same.

Is there there an easy way to just show suppliers from the location you are in if not could there be?

ah now thats very good for location based searching. very nice. If we could combine the kellysearch ( good location searching) with community rating and information we would have an ideal solution? ie supplier near me , sells ... and other people have used them and thought they were .....

As an aside, for general supplies from electronics to bolts and stock material I use RC Components. They deliver v quick and are priced ok. Again, I have no connection with them apart from as a customer:

But the order should be a bit different...
Maybe if it would look something like this:

Where the International category lists the suppliers that ship worldwide, like electronics or small stuff that is hard to find anywhere else.
Also if some suppliers are located in UK and in USA, then the same supplier can be found in both Country categories.
This way anyone can have a first look in the country where he lives, then other places that are near his country.
The categories would have to be adapted with time....but that shouldn't be a problem.
