Hi,
I was just thinking (Dangerous I know!). Could you add a forum under Woodworking, Metalworking etc titled 'Tools & Equipment', where people can discuss matters relating to specific individual tools from hand tool size upwards, and they can ask about, or tell others about, the good, bad, and ugly of specific tools or even brands......
L8rs.

Please feel free to post your support for this idea or if u think its stupid.![]()
Good idea. Different possibilities here. I'll get back to you after I get some other input on the idea.

Thanks Rekd. Looking forward to your input. I know tool stuff could be posted, and is posted, in the 'General Machining' or other such forums, but those forums are more about techniques than the tools used. It seems this is a large area thats not specifically covered in its own right as yet by the site. I know under woodworking I would like to get advice on different cabinet saws but theres not really anywhere specific to post my question.
Your welcome, diarmaid.
I added a tooling section to the Forums (towards the bottom). I decided agianst making a seperate tooling forum for each main forum that needs one. There are sections for CNC, Manual Machine, Hand, Metal and Wood so far.
