better way of handling classifieds | |
Hi,
I havent listed anything on the site yet, so im not quite sure how you handle the listings, but from looking through the classifieds section there are a lot of abandoned posts, many of which are from 2 years back! Surely anyone who hasnt sold their item in 2 years will have sold elsewhere. This makes it a lot harder to navigate, and is a waste of time for anyone looking at the abandoned posts.
It would be better to have the adverts automatically removed after a fixed amount of time, or better yet every month or so send an automated email to the seller, getting them to confirm that they still want the listing, otherwise remove it.
Another useful feature would be to allow the sellers to set a finish date, as quite a few people simply list links to ebay auctions, which are only valid for 7 days. |
